The Grubigstein is the most popular flying mountain in the Tiroler Zugspitzarena. At 2,250 meters, with steep rock faces dropping towards the Gartnerwand, it offers ideal conditions for spectacular flights. The launch sites for east, south, and north winds are located directly at the Gamsbödele mountain station and can be reached within just a few minutes on foot.

Right from takeoff, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Zugspitze. During the flight, you’ll also experience incredible views over the Lermoos valley, the Mieminger mountain range, and all the way to the main Alpine ridge in the south.

Landing takes place in Lermoos on a beautiful meadow right next to the valley station. The landing site is easily accessible for spectators and only about two minutes from the Grubigstein cable car parking area.
